Particular attention was paid to the lobby and reception area with its adjoining shop, the new Nomad Day Bar and the inner courtyard. The “Library of the Lost Countries” has also been rearranged. Michael Dreher, who originally developed the 152-room hotel under the motto “Around the world in a day”, was once again responsible for the design and project management. Together with local tradesmen, the individual areas were gradually adapted during ongoing operations without significantly affecting the well-being of guests or hotel operations.
