Dale Nix loves to travel and has been fortunate enough to have visited over fifty countries on six continents. Favourite memories (in no particular order) include paragliding at 1,700m from Babadag in Olu Deniz, waking up to an incredible atmospheric setting in the mountains of Guatemala, watching the sun set over Tanah Lot temple in Bali and freezing in the glacial lakes of the Bavarian Alps. |
Dale possesses over 25 years’ experience in Travel and Hospitality, including senior leadership positions in the USA and UK for American Airlines, Forte and Le Meridien Hotels and InterContinental Hotels.
Dale provides strategic direction and advice to clients, such as Gleneagles Hotel as part of Avenue 9 Solution’s IT Director Service; his current role encompasses strategic and tactical consulting, vendor and project management with a range of Hospitality clients and prospects, private banking and equity groups.
Prior to Avenue 9, Dale managed an independent Hospitality consultancy for 12 years and provided project management and consultancy services to clients across the UK, Europe and Middle East. Clients included Tourism Development and Investment Company UAE (TDIC), The Belfry, Wentworth Club, Sodexho Prestige, Principal-Hayley, Danubius, Malmaison, Hotel du Vin, De Vere, Travelodge and Village Hotels, among others.
