We welcome the return of FBD Hotels & Resorts

We are pleased to welcome FBD Hotels & Resorts back to Avenue 9. We had the pleasure of working with two of their resort properties on Spain’s Costa del Sol; first the Sunset Beach Club and more recently, the fabulous La Cala Resort (incidentally named the best 4* golf resort in Spain in January 2020).

FBD Hotels & Resorts is an Irish hotel group operating quality hotels and resorts in Ireland and Spain.  

It is owned by PLL Property & Leisure which is solely owned by Farmer Business Developments plc.

New neighbour and client, Jurys Inn

Today we welcome Jurys Inns to the neighbourhood. Jurys Inns have been in Hospitality since 1881, which we believe makes it the oldest of our client base; we are humbled to be part of such a long-standing historic journey.

Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland is a hotel group in the UK and Ireland. It operates 36 hotels under the Jurys Inn brand and 12 hotels under the Leonardo brand, – 48 in the UK, four in Ireland.

It is a member of the Fattal Group which operates over 200 hotels in 17 countries, including the operating platform for all 37 hotels within the Jurys Inn portfolio, and the leaseholds for 15 Jurys Inn hotels.

It is also part of Pandox AB which is an established European hotel property investor and owner with 143 hotels and approximately 31,600 hotel rooms in 15 countries, including 20 Jurys Inn freehold hotels.

The Lensbury moves in on Avenue 9

Our new neighbour The Lensbury has recently moved into Avenue 9. If you’ve not yet experienced the Lensbury, you should, as it is an oasis of pleasure and relaxation on the river Thames in Teddington.

The Lensbury situated by Teddington Lock, Middlesex was constructed in the early 1930’s. It is set within 25 acres of landscaped grounds. Facilities include a 4* Hotel, Conference Centre, Events and Special Occasions, leisure and a premium leisure club. The Lensbury is a piece of the countryside in the Heart of Teddington.

Hello, neighbour!

Welcome to our new home on Avenue 9!

Mark Jelley and Dale Nix purchased Avenue 9 Solutions via a Management Buy Out from the parent company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) late in 2019, with the formal launch occurring on 6 January, 2020.

Mark and Dale were the original consultants in the first Avenue 9 consultancy; they’ve known each other for many years, working off and on alongside one another, they finally ended up at Avenue 9, which was purchased by JLL in January 2016.

After four years in JLL, working with some great people, they decided to take Avenue 9 independent and go back to the company’s entrepreneurial roots. They’ve had great support and encouragement from JLL’s management during the MBO and the Avenue 9 team thank JLL for their part in this journey.
